Wishing for Dreams

Crazy, stupid, enamorous heart.
Loving, leaving, tearing apart.
No one to give me, the loving refrain.
Lonely, a lonely heart.
Writhing in pain.
Wishing I had it.
Connection of love.
Crazily hoping.
Hoping for love.
Young and alone.
Knowing the future.
Will hold other prospects.
Impatiently restless.
Wishing for dreams.

Mama

Mama's the woman,
who taught you,
who guides you.

Mama's the one,
who sings you to sleep.

Mama's the one,
who loves you,
supplies you.

Mama's the one,
who keeps you at peace.

Mama's the one,
you fight with,
and laugh with.

Mama's the one,
who forgives you and stays.

Mama's the one,
who puts you first,
every time.

Mama's the one,
who watches you play.

Mama's the one,
who cares,
for your safety.

Mama's the one,
leading the way.

Mama's not always,
the woman,
who birthed you.

Mama's the woman,
who wants you to stay.

Mama's a blessing,
she cares,
unconditional.

Mama,
she loves you,
and she'll love you always.

Bricks

The bricks on the wall have a story to tell,
brown and red and mortar as well,
weathered by storm, by the elements alone,
but together they build an unbreakable home.

Like a man on a mission, one seems so small,
but when bounded together, an unbreakable wall,
firm and secure, strength in their bond,
working as one, they protect what's beyond.

Bricks are like family, estranged they will fall,
but together they'll prosper, imperfections and all,
bounded together by the genes of a lineage,
a family's strong and supported regardless of visage.

Connection's important, like belief and like hope,
love is the reason we're able to cope,
so keep your friends close, and your family closer,
value your relatives, give yourself closure.

And So It Goes

Water ebbs,
water flows,
Birds fly by,
And so it goes.

A child comes in,
But elderly leaves,
A life of full,
And so it goes.

The ticking clock,
Tick-tock Tick-tock,
informs the man,
And so it goes.

The sun will rise,
To dark moon sets,
Repeated prose,
And so it goes.

A child will crawl,
Then stand, then run,
Then slow, then stop,
And so it goes.

A birth, a graduation,
a wedding, a funeral,
Infinity flows,
And so it goes.

Truth of my life

"The weight of a simple human emotion weighs me down more than the tank ever did..."
~Troye Sivan

Gone {{{(Don't be alarmed, i'm not suicidal)}}}

Needless to say,
been gone for awhile,
the mind has no pattern,
my face has no smile.

Friends, Passers-by,
drifting so blindly,
failing to see,
this girl, slowly dying.

Everyone's problems,
cared for, upcoming,
but where is the love,
when the neutral friend's crumbling.

Of course you can't see,
I'm one hell of an actress,
But the only ones listening,
my pillow, my mattress.

Of course I would love,
a someone to lean on,
screaming inside,
for a shoulder to cry on.

But you're all too busy,
with "drama", with boyfriends,
what even is that,
do the real things even matter.

Being the middleman,
everyone likes you,
but it never occurs,
that you're a pained human too.

So needless to say,
I've been gone for awhile,
life seems almost pointless,
and certainly futile.
