And So It Goes

Water ebbs,
water flows,
Birds fly by,
And so it goes.

A child comes in,
But elderly leaves,
A life of full,
And so it goes.

The ticking clock,
Tick-tock Tick-tock,
informs the man,
And so it goes.

The sun will rise,
To dark moon sets,
Repeated prose,
And so it goes.

A child will crawl,
Then stand, then run,
Then slow, then stop,
And so it goes.

A birth, a graduation,
a wedding, a funeral,
Infinity flows,
And so it goes.
